1. The Great Law or the Law of Cause and Effect

What you put out into the Universe, that will come back to you. To receive happiness, you must be happy. You can look at it as seeds. Every deed you do is like a seed. A seed of something good or a seed of something we will regret later. And yes, our thoughts are actions too.

2. The Law of Creation

Life requires your participation. We can’t just sit around and wait for things to come to us. We need to undertake actions towards what we want and surround ourselves with that.

3. The Law of Humility

“Awareness, awareness, awareness.” – Anthony de Mello

One must accept something in order to change it. You probably have seen some of those people living in denial, getting deeper and deeper into their shit. Refusing to accept their reality, yet wanting to have a different life. That change isn’t possible without seeing life for what it is, no matter where you start. The truth is liberating. Also, there will always be something you don’t know, someone that knows more. What you can do is auto reflect, auto reflect and auto reflect.

4. The Law of Growth

We have control over only ourselves. We can’t change other people or the world around us. But if we change ourselves our reality will follow and change too. And the growth never ends, there is always something new to learn or to heal.

5. The Law of Responsibility

What surrounds us missors us. We must take responsibility for what is in our life and admit: if there is something wrong in it, there is something wrong in us. Every situation that we face has its roots in us and there’s a role we play.

6. The Law of Connection

Everything is connected and in balance. We are all connected. Every tiny step of a task is equally important. Past, Present and Future are all connected. You know, like the fact that some Chinese guy ate a bat a year ago is connected with the fact that right now I am making pumpkin soup at home in Warsaw and not ordering Mojitos in a night club in London or not eating dahl in Delhi. The point is, karma concerns every single living being. If you fall into extremes in anything you do, that may be fatal. While you may not understand all the rules governing the world, it’s likely you don’t see its balance. Any extremes you choose will bounce back.

7. The Law of Focus

One cannot focus on two things at the same time. Multitasking is tiring, but when it comes to spiritual growth, we can’t have a low and high vibration simultaneously. If you can at all, choose the higher vibration and let go of greed or envy. Provided that you want to attract good things in your life. Dunno, you do you.

8. The Law of Giving & Hospitality

Your beliefs will be tested. Your claims will be put into practice. And it is also about all the good things we want to do for others – we can’t just say we’ll do them. We have got to do them and this has to be done selflessly. By the way, I am being called upon every single thing I wrote on this blog. Preaching is not enough, the Universe is there to get us 🙂 But you know what? When you do something good for others without expecting anything in return – that will fill your life with joy and happiness. So even if it didn’t come back, its worth it!

9. The Law of Here & Now

Being preoccupied with the past or the future makes us stuck and anxious. Prevents us from living our life in the here and now. If you find yourself making that mistake – that’s an important message about some things in your present life. Like, if you are afraid of something in your present and seek comfort in the future – maybe that present thing needs to be looked into.

Whatever gets you disconnected, raising awareness always helps. Okay, this is easy to say – disconnection exists for a reason, it prevents us from getting retraumatised from things that are too big to handle at once. It is still worth doing the work and healing whatever needs healing.

10. The Law of Change

If you find yourself having to face the same situation over and over again… well, this is your lesson. If you connect with your feelings and what’s deep inside of you, the answer will come, you will learn your lesson. Then, and only then, you can change your path. The lesson repeats as needed.

Speaking of which, do you also observe spectacular events invading your life every time you learn a lesson? Or is it just me…

11. Law of Patience & Reward

To get rewarded we need to put some effort in. Even more, persistent and hard work pays off. Showing up every day. It usually takes some time, so one must not give up. The best way, of course, is to find joy in the journey: doing the right thing, knowing the reward will come eventually.

12. The Law of Significance & Inspiration

Loving contributions to the world bring life to it and inspire it. Everything we send to the world, will come back. And all of us have value to give, no matter how small. Because everyone is unique in his own way. It is intention that matters – if you do something with expectation of reward, it may not exactly work as planned.
