In just a few days I will be in Rishikesh, India, starting a Yoga Teacher Training in a school registered with Yoga Alliance, therefore elligible to grant a certificate upon completion of a study. I am about to embark on a journey towards self-discovery, unification and healing. And I want to let you all know how it goes.
When Pandora opened the container left in care of her husband, she unleashed all sorts of curses upon mankind. When the lid cracked open, all evil escaped into the wilderness, leaving one thing at the bottom. It was hope. But the hope is the worst of them all. By hoping for or expecting a good life that we can never have, we prolong our torment. It had me stuck, lying to myself, hoping that things will get better on their own. It was despair that had set me free.
As I managed to get back on the mat, I see my practise improve. Other than just following what is, this time I would like to add some direction in my practise. There are things causing me hardship. I would not be myself if I did not try to grow to resolve that. Life is supposed to be easy! And it will be, once I put some work into it.

A few words about my resistance and struggle with being nice to myself
I wanted to touch base on something quite prevalent, yet maybe from a different perspective than elsewhere. I am talking about misconceptions about love life.
Many a time have I heard from men about difficulties in comprehending female experience of menstrual mood swings. Yet chemical imbalance of the brain is a thing. It influences our behaviour and makes us attach to the wrong people. I hope to shed some light on this subject.
